BNP Paribas today announced the appointment of Aymar de Liedekerke Beaufort as Head of Country for Vietnam and Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas S.A. Ho Chi Minh City branch, with effect from 28 July 2015.

Pierre Veyres said: “Over the last eight years, Luc Cardyn has been instrumental in delivering BNP Paribas’ strategy in Vietnam and we thank him for his dedicated efforts. Riding on this current strong momentum of growth, we are confident that Aymar de Liedekerke Beaufort’s international experience will be of considerable value in steering the business in Vietnam to the next stage of development.”

Prior to this new appointment, Aymar has been Head of Corporate Coverage for Germany, based in Frankfurt, since 2012. He has been with BNP Paribas for 26 years and has held different senior management positions, including Head of Country for Czech Republic and Slovakia, and Head of Country for Hungary and South Eastern Europe, as well as Deputy Head of Corporate and Transaction Banking for Europe.
